Why Bonnie’s House?

Bonnie’s House is named after my amazing rescue dog, Bonnie. She came into my life after losing my 16-year-old Bichon Frise, Teddy, exactly when I needed her most.

Bonnie’s Story

Bonnie was a 9-year-old Boston Terrier who had spent years being used for breeding. She had a tough start in life but was full of character and sass.

A Special Bond

When I met her, she decided I was the one for her, showing her affection in her unique and charming way. I couldn’t resist, and from that moment on, we rescued each other.

Bonnie’s Legacy

In the short time we had together, Bonnie brought so much love and joy into my life. She taught me the value of giving every dog the care, comfort, and second chance they deserve. Because of her, I started fostering, helping other dogs in need find safety and love. Losing Bonnie made me realise that I wanted to work with dogs and open Bonnie’s House, creating a home-from-home where every dog is treated with love, respect, and as part of the family.

How do you care for dogs at Bonnie’s House?

At Bonnie’s House, I believe in offering a personalised, home-based environment where dogs receive individual care and attention. There are no kennels here, just my home, and I want every dog to feel like they’re at home while staying with me.

What types of dogs do you care for at Bonnie’s House?

I care for small and medium-sized dogs (up to 15kg) that are over 12 months old, fully vaccinated (including Kennel Cough), toilet trained, and sociable with both people and other dogs. This ensures a calm and comfortable environment for all dogs in my care. All adult dogs must be neutered and must have a trial booking before registration is confirmed.
